Three schools from Italy, Poland and Spain are about to start a wonderful trip througout the history and culture of their own country and their neighbours.
This project, called Comenius, and titled "Relative Values" will last two years and it will include a lot of fun and interesting activities including a visit to those countries!
Using this blog, we will keep you updated with everything happening in our project and we will show you pictures, videos etc.
We are very happy to share with you this experience and we hope you all enjoy it!

END OF THE PROJECT

It is really hard to try to sumarize what these two years have meant for everyone of us involved in the project but now, that it has come to an end it is time to look back and admit that every effort, every time we have work so hard to prepare an activity... It all has been extremely WORTHY!
It is time to say a big thank you to all the students, families, teachers, mayors, schools and different associations that have taken part and by this, have made this possible... without all this help, COMENIUS wouldnt be the wonderful dream it is so... GRACIAS- GRAZIE- DZIEJUJE- THANK YOU.

When it all started we almost didnt know anything about each other, just the name and the location on the map and now.... NOW WE ARE FRIENDS!
We wanted to learn things about other countries and about other countries and about Europe and we have got so much more tha it is almos incredible. There are no words to express how lucky we all feel for having had the chance to take part on this project so we are extremely happy with the result and so are all the families and children involved (they are even planning trips to see each other this summer)
WE WILL NEVER FORGET THIS WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!
HOPE WE CAN MEET AGAIN... THANKS FOR EVERYTHING FRIENDS!

MOBILITY TO POLAND

Last May, children from Italy and Spain joined their european friends in Poland.... This was a very special occasion since it was not only the last mobility of the year but the end of the project and the last time we meet (at least officially)
As usual, it was a wonderful experience, we did so many things and visit so many interesting places that it is hard to express here how we felt: we rode a bike, walk around beautiful places, played a lot games, made a bonfire and enjoy sausage-eating, visited a zoo and..... we even had a ride in amazing HARLEY DAVIDSON... SUCH A WONDERFUL SURPRISE!!

Our task for the month of May and the visit to Poland was related to music from our countries, so each group of children prepared a show and sang several songs in SPANISH, ITALIAN, POLISH and ENGLISH. Everyone of us made a great effort to learn the songs in a language that it is not our mother tongue and the result was just spectacular.... It all came up in a wonderful SHOW... From LIGOWO to EUROPE

As always, we had a great time that we will never forget!! THANKS TO ALL POLISH FAMILIES, TEACHER AND.... FRIENDS!!

MOBILITY TO SPAIN

Last April, from the 14th to the 19th, CEIP VIRGEN DE LAS HUERTAS recieved the visit of their polish and italian friends. Everybody was so excited with their visit and had been waiting for them and preparing this visit for such a long time that time flew for us during this week.
We did a lot of different visits around the city of Lorca, we went to the beach and visit the beautiful city of Aguilas and we went to Cartagena and have a wonderful walk around the town.

On the other hand, the task of this month of April and of this mobility was TRADITIONAL COSTUME, so each group of children prepared a presentation about the most representative costumes of their country and after presenting it we made a litte game.
We made mixed nationality groups and each group was given different materials to elaborate the costume and dress up a child. At the end, this was the result.... Wasn't it amazing???

WE HAD A GREAT TIME IN THIS MOBILITY AND EVERYONE INVOLVED WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS EXPERIENCE.... YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WELCOME IN OUR SCHOOL

WOMEN'S DAY

To celebrate Women's Day our children have made a wonderful research about the most important and relevant women of each one of our countries in order to share this knoledge with our friends from Europe.
Our kids had a great time getting to know so many wonderful women all over the world and learnt a lot of things!
From everyone of us involved on this COMENIUS project we want to wish every woman in the world a HAPPY WOMAN'S DAY!
